Nursery for Babies & Preschoolers
Ember Concepcion, our preschool director, runs a top-notch nursery with professional workers and volunteers. The nursery staff prioritizes cleanliness, safety, and sowing seeds into little hearts with an awareness of Jesus and the Bible. The nursery provides child care for all major church events and special gatherings.

HisKids! Sunday Bible Fellowship for Children
Sunday School classes are available for children newborn through 12th grade. Teachers create an environment where young people’s needs of relationship and discipleship are met. Bible Fellowship classes meet Sundays at 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.

Children’s Church
Young people kindergarten through 3rd grade may participate in their own custom-made service during the 10:45 AM Worship Celebration. Children come to “big church” first then leave for children’s church after about 15 minutes. Debbie Fitzhugh, Director

We are excited to announce the beginning of a new children’s program here at Sharpstown Baptist Church—TeamKID! TeamKID has replaced AWANA in the Wednesday evening children’s program lineup. AWANA has been a wonderful program at our church for several years; however, due to low attendance and the loss of several key leaders over the past year, we have decided to go in a different direction. Also weighing in heavily on the choice to change programs is the fact that Mary Farley, new member at SBC and mother of three young people, has shown an interest in helping us revitalize our children’s program.
Mary was the director of children’s programs at Braeburn Valley Baptist Church for several years until the Lord led her to us. She was able with God’s help to take their program (which had essentially no one) and build it into a strong and viable part of that church’s ministry. Mary believes that with the Lord’s guidance, prayer, and worker’s within the church committing to help, we can have a fantastic program for our children here at SBC.
